This year’s World Hand Hygiene Day theme, “It might be gloves. It’s always hand hygiene”, is a reminder to all healthcare professional that hand hygiene must be performed before glove use and immediately after glove use.
“Gloves get contaminated just as easily as bare hands and do not provide 100% protection”.
