Monograph on Public Health Surveillance in the Pacific

This publication relates the background on which the Pacific Public Health Surveillance Network (PPHSN) was established. The authors are health professionals working within international or regional organisations, local health administrations and universities. All of them — epidemiologist, statistician or demographer — wrote sharp and constructive reports on public health surveillance activities in the Pacific Islands and listed some interesting proposals for a common regional framework.
